WSYB Christmas Fund Poem
By Thad Monteiro
Back In the Fall of 1972
A little Boy Asked for Blankets & Boots
In a letter to Santa the boy was concerned
Not for himself, but for his little brother we learned
He was worried his brother would get sick during the night in the cold
Because their bedroom window was just cardboard, we were told
He didn’t want toys or a brand new sled
He just wanted his brother to be warm in his bed
So this Christmas Season think of those who have none
And Give generously to the WSYB Christmas Fund
